in-cosmetics Global 2025: BASF's Personal Care business wins BSB Innovation Prizes and Supplier Award

Amsterdam, Netherlands – April 9, 2025 – During in-cosmetics Global in Amsterdam, BASF's Personal Care business unit received three Innovation Prizes from the German consulting agency BSB. At the same time, the company was named the most popular supplier ranked by product searches on SpecialChem. BASF upgrades its Sunscreen Simulator with new features

Amsterdam, Netherlands – April 7, 2025 – BASF has updated its Sunscreen Simulator, the company’s digital lab for the development and optimization of sun care formulations. The new generation will be officially launched at this year’s in-cosmetics Global, held from April 8 to 10 in Amsterdam.

BASF launches aroma ingredients with reduced Product Carbon Footprints to enable customers reach their sustainability targets

Ludwigshafen, Germany – BASF Aroma Ingredients has successfully launched L-Menthol FCC rPCF as its first product with a reduced Product Carbon Footprint (rPCF). Further rPCF product launches are planned to help customers achieve their ambitious Scope 3 carbon reduction targets. BASF's rPCF aroma ingredients come with a PCF reduction of about 10 to 15% compared to conventional BASF products.

BASF launches natural-based innovations for personal care at in-cosmetics Global 2025

BASF is expanding its portfolio of natural-based ingredients with three new products that enable more sustainable personal care solutions while not compromising on performance: Verdessence® Maize, a natural styling polymer, Lamesoft® OP Plus, a wax-based opacifier dispersion, and Dehyton® PK45 GA/RA, a betaine derived from Rainforest Alliance Certified coconut oil.
